Norbert Dentressangle’s new distribution centre in Hounslow, West London is now open.
The 50,000 sq ft site, which is on the Fairway Trading Estate, has created 70 new jobs for warehouse operatives, truck drivers, administration and support staff.
The facility was officially opened by the worshipful the deputy mayor of the London Borough of Hounslow, councillor Barbara Harris.
The event was also attended by Norbert Dentressangle Transport Services’ managing director Steve MacDonald; operations director – south Sebastien Desremeaux; and sales and marketing director Stuart Lloyd.
Lloyd said: “The economy may be tough at the moment but there remains the opportunity for providers of flexible, cost effective distribution services to secure new business and support companies in London and surrounding area.”
