According to King Sturge’s latest Industrial and Distribution Floorspace Today report the average size of unit taken-up (in new units of 100,000 sq ft and over) was 216,774.39 sq ft.

This was significantly down on the average for 2008 (298,461.7 sq ft) and the peak annual average recorded in 2006 (347,738.88 sq ft), and shows the lack of very large unit transactions taking place.
