Healthcare firm Ansell (UK), which makes condoms, has signed a contract with Palletways Birmingham to provide UK-wide distribution, as well as deliveries to Europe.
The company’s most popular brand is Mates condoms, which are sold in the majority of grocery multiples.
Palletways Birmingham collects goods for delivery from Ansell’s manufacturing site in Tamworth and delivers them via Palletways networks to customer distribution centres throughout the UK and France.
Andy Shiell, European operations manager at Ansell (UK), said: “Due to the tight time delivery slots we are allocated at distribution centres, we needed a transport provider which could be relied on to ensure our products are delivered on time, every time.
“Palletways Birmingham is well equipped to handle these requirements and we can track the progress of our consignments using the online track and trace facility – even throughout Europe.”
