Global shipping business Hyundai Merchant Marine and UK-based logistics firm C Butt have combined forces to create a joint venture company called Hyundai and C Butt Solutions.
The new company has been formed in a bid to increase business activity, enabling both businesses to offer an increased portfolio of services in the UK and European logistics sector, supporting a “global to local” supply chain.
Soo-Ho Kim, managing director of HMM and company chairman of the joint venture, said: “This new venture offers the UK market a joint focus on global, national and local supply chain management, support and development.”
Clive Hodgkinson, managing director of C Butt, added: “This initiative enables the partners to offer innovative, dedicated, bespoke warehousing solutions in the UK backed by local and international experience, plus global strength, breadth and depth.”
