Barloworld Logistics is rebranding its Barloworld Optimus division to Barloworld Supply Chain Software.
Kevin Boake, who heads up the software business units in the UK, RSA and USA, said: “Our mission as a business remains unchanged; to not only make world class supply chain planning tools available to the market, but also to ensure our clients gain competitive advantage by supplementing these tools with effective processes and experienced supply chain planning consultants.”
Richard Forrest, head of UK operations at Barloworld Logistics and the Barloworld Supply Chain Software executive, added that the suite includes CAST (network modelling), CINO (inventory strategy optimisation), ODP (demand planning) and Optimiza (perfect order execution).
Barloworld Logistics recently moved its UK headquarters to a larger premises in the West Midlands.
