Savoye has launched E-Jivaro – a packaging product aimed at the e-commerce market. Based on Savoye’s Jivaro packaging machine, E-Jivaro offers companies greater flexibility with its “letterbox format” designed for distributing smaller single products such as books and DVDs.
The E-Jivaro is designed to adapt itself to the dimensions of the ordered product automatically to provide secure packaging with no wasted space or filling materials for parcels that are greater than 30mm in height.
It is capable of delivering a throughput of between 13 to 16 cycles per minute, with the possibility of putting the dispatch address on automatically during lidding.

The E-Jivaro offers e-commerce companies a fast, reliable automatic packaging solution that will reduce the need for double handling and bottlenecks on the line, and thus help to increase productivity.”
