Manor Fresh, the specialist supplier of potatoes and vegetables to the UK market, has signed a contract with Gist to become a key logistics provider.
Gist’s transport operation now collects around 2.75 million cases of fresh vegetables each year from UK sites in Lincolnshire, Chipping Campden, Inverness and Arbroath.
Manor Fresh chose Gist for its network coverage and RFID cross-dock capability which it said complements its business operations, enabling it to deliver improved accuracy to customers.
