Acumen Automotive Logistics has been awarded a contract for the movement and delivery of London taxis for LTI Vehicles.
Acumen will take finished vehicles from Coventry and deliver them to LTI’s distribution centre at Wellesbourne in Warwickshire, on behalf of Ontime Automotive.
It will also deliver taxis to customers in London and other UK towns and cities and expects to carry around 2,500 taxis each year.
The first-ever black cab left LTI’s Coventry factory in 1948. Since then, more than 100,000 vehicles have rolled off the production line.
