Gist has acquired temperature-controlled distribution operator G&S International, which transports goods throughout the UK, Holland and Spain.
Employees from Scotland-based G&S will transfer to Gist, and the company has also bought assets including trucks, IT and warehousing.
Gist said G&S operations are a good strategic fit, and will help build its presence in the temperature-controlled sector both in the UK and continental Europe.
