Aligning supply chain strategy with the overall business strategy is a key issue for many organisations, and Lourens Schouwink, chief financial officer of Samsung Benelux, will be giving the CFO perspective at  Extended Supply Chain 2011 – the thought-leadership conference which is attended by Europe’s most forward thinking and innovative supply chain leaders.

He will look at the relationship between Finance & Supply Chain at Samsung Electronics, integrating supply chains to enhance financial performance, understanding the cultural differences of working for an Asian enterprise and how this can proactively effect the supply chain, and emerging global trends and the consequences for the extended supply chain.

This year supply chain guru Dr John Gattorna will be running a post-conference workshop entitled: “Designing and implementing New Age supply chains”.
