Melksham-based haulier D Mortimer & Sons, has taken delivery of five left-hand-drive TGX 26.480 6×2 tag-axle units from MAN.
The new MAN tractor units are fitted with 1,100 litre fuel tanks, and are already in service on five-year contract hire packages through MAN Financial Services.
The company distributes fresh fish from The Netherlands to markets across Europe, including Spain and Portugal. Mortimer’s work with the fresh and frozen chip import market has also inspired its ‘Eat More Chips’ trailer livery which is becoming a regular sight on south of England’s motorway network.
