Electronic products supplier Bosch UK has awarded a £10 million contract to arvato for warehousing and distribution of lawn and garden products for Bosch Power Tools.
The five year contract starts on 1st December and arvato will supply more than 15 national retail customers with over a million units across a range of more than 170 different products.
Bosch stock will be stored and distributed from arvato’s distribution hub at Hams Hall, Birmingham including an additional 90,000 square foot of warehousing.

Arvato, part of the giant Bertelsmann publishing group, now employs 63,000 people in 36 countries. Services include preparation and distribution of printed materials and digital storage media to data management, customer care, CRM services, supply chain management, digital distribution, financial services, professional and individualized IT services and the direct marketing of media.
