Elanco, the animal health division of Eli Lilly, has extended its contract with Potter Group Logistics for two years.
Potter Group has invested in new temperature control infrastructure and materials handling equipment. Elanco has had a contract with Potter at Knowsley for the past three years. The original contract was to provide handling and storage of 8,000 pallets of its products for the worldwide market. Included in the contract extension is an additional 4,000 pallets, taking the total to 12,000.
As part of the extended contract, temperature controlled storage was required and Potter Group has invested in specific control equipment.
“Now we can store the products under the three distinct temperature conditions required: chilled (2-8°C), controlled room temperature (15-25°C) and ambient,” said Matthew Lamb, managing director of Potter Group Logistics
