Panalpina has taken delivery of the first of two new Boeing 747-8 Freighters which will enter scheduled service within Panalpina’s own controlled air freight network.
The aircraft, the first ever in Panalpina livery, was handed over yesterday at Boeing’s Everett site. The 747-8F named “Spirit of Panalpina” is now on its way to Hong Kong where it will enter scheduled service within Panalpina’s own controlled air freight network.
The aircraft is being deployed on the Luxembourg / Huntsville route as well as other routes. The delivery of the second 747-8F is expected later in 2012.
