Avery Weigh-Tronix has acquired Central Weighing, the Kidderminster-based specialist in vehicle weighing, tracking and management systems.
Central Weighing also offers a web based tracking and monitoring system developed for municipal vehicles and the waste industry marketed under the Exactrak name.
Avery Weigh-Tronix is a business unit of Illinois Tool Works Inc. It said the acquisition of Central Weighing would facilitate the pooling of technological resources, complimentary product and service capabilities.
