Logistics provider Parker International is expanding its operations by renting out a 40,000 sq ft storage site at Towngate Business Centre in Widnes.
The dry bonded satellite site is located near the M62 between the Port of Liverpool and John Lennon airport.
This will support its operations based at its flagship 200,000 sq ft warehouse facility at Dukinfield to the east of Manchester.
David Brennand, director, said: “More and more of our clients are looking for greater efficiency and ways of reducing costs with better methods of operation. It’s increasingly important that they can rely on us to provide and successfully deliver a comprehensive logistics solution for them.”
Parker International hopes to extend its workforce with the deal, and potentially develop the site to manage up to 100,000 sq ft.
