TNT Express has extended its road network with a service to and from Montenegro.
The move follows the recent addition of Albania, Macedonia, Belarus and Moldova, gives TNT a road network coverage of 40 European countries.
The twice-weekly scheduled departures to Podgorica, Montenegro’s capital, support TNT Express’ day definite delivery door-to-door “Economy Express” service.
Transit times within Europe are 2-6 days depending on the distance. TNT Express will serve Montenegro from a bonded warehouse in Belgrade, Serbia. Belgrade is connected to TNT Express’ European road network via Timisoara (Romania). The 470 km-drive through the mountains between Belgrade and Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, takes 10 to 12 hours.
