Dachser is investing some £11 million in replenishing the fleet and infrastructure of J A Leach in Rochdale, which it acquired in 2010.
The firm is taking six new 44-ton tractor units, ten large rigid trucks of 18-tons and one smaller rigid. Additionally, there are twenty new 13.6 m tri-axle trailers, four of which are equipped with tail-lifts.
The fleet investment is in addition to refurbishing the JA Leach premises, taking on new staff and developing its IT infrastructure.

“The investment in our fleet replacement, which is compliant with the current Euro 5 standards, is the latest exciting example of our commitment to this strategy, and will further enhance our presence and image in the region.”
