Ceva has launched a Less-than-Container Load (LCL) consolidation service from the UK to Dubai.
The weekly service links Ceva’s Consolidation Freight Station (CFS) in Tamworth with the Ceva CFS in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai.
By consolidating freight at Tamworth in the Midlands, Ceva reckons it can cut inland transport cost and overall transit time.
Greg Scott, global LCL director said: “The Middle East region is a growing market for Ceva especially in ocean freight. This new consolidation service from the UK to Dubai is just one example of how we can deliver cost and time benefits by capitalizing on our integrated freight management network and investment strategies within the region.”
