Drivers at the Tesco distribution centre in Doncaster will strike for 48 hours next week.
Trade union Unite said the strike, which involves about 180 drivers, would start at 00:05 on Tuesday 9 October and end at 00:05 on Thursday 11 October affecting Tesco stores in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Transport operations at the site were transferred to Eddie Stobart in August. Drivers at the site voted to strike after Stobart issued 90-days’ notice of termination of employment last month.
Tesco and Stobart are reported to have offered alternative roles to the drivers.
