The Food Storage and Distribution Federation has completed its merger with Transfrigoroute UK.
Chris Sturman, chief executive of the FSDF said: “The integration of Transfrigoroute into FSDF ensures we can now provide our combined membership with an unrivalled source of industry knowledge and expertise, networking opportunities and membership services to cover all aspects of temperature controlled storage and distribution across the food supply chain.’
Transfrigoroute president John Clark and board member Graham Eames have joined the executive board of FSDF and an FSDF Transfrigoroute Committee has been created. This comprises 17 representatives from organisations such as distribution operators, refrigeration manufacturers such as Thermo King, Carrier and Frigoblock, equipment manufacturers, fleet engineers and fleet management experts.
John Clark, who is managing director of Clan International, said: “I believe that our combined members will now enjoy benefits from both associations and as a member of both, I am looking forward to enjoying the benefits on a practical level too.”
