Norbert Dentressangle’s freight forwarding division has launched a managed, end-to-end global sea freight service called “Red Ocean Connect”.
The new offering includes local vendor management, daily FCL and LCL services, customs and duty management and destination services. For European destinations, the service also provides access to the firm’s pan-European transport and logistics networks.
Following Norbert’s launch of its launch of its Red Sky Connect primary airfreight network earlier this year, the firm now offers a door-to-door service between Asia, Europe, North America and South America both by sea and air, with end-to-end supply chain management and control.
Managing director of overseas, Guillaume Col, said: “We continue to strengthen our freight forwarding operations in growing markets and we are now present in all key areas: China, Latin America, the United States, Europe and now India and Sri Lanka. The launch of the Red Ocean Connect freight service is another key step for the development of our global freight forwarding operations.”
