Schenker, the UK arm of DB Schenker Logistics, has opened a 5,200 sq m shared user facility at J10 of the M42 near Tamworth.
UK contract logistics director Jochen Johann said: “Within this modern facility, customers will benefit from state of the art warehouse management system, availability of 12,000 pallet positions as well as expected high standards both in terms of security and the customer service we offer.”
And Helgi Ingolfsson, managing director of Schenker said: “Having such a perfectly strategically located facility will enable us to make another stride forward in a new era for contract logistics in the UK no matter where our clients are located.”
