Pall-Ex has recruited Nottinghamshire haulier B Taylor & Sons to handle part of the NG postcode area.
B Taylor, which was previously a member of the Fortec pallet network, has a fleet of more than 180 vehicles and some 250 trailers and is currently preparing to move its entire logistics team to a new centralised headquarters in Huthwaite.
Alan Taylor, managing director of B Taylor & Sons, said: ““The decision to change pallet network did not come easily as we had been with the previous one for some nine years. However, once we saw the Pall-Ex operation and met the managerial team, we felt it was an opportunity to provide an improved and more professional service for our customers.”
The announcement follows the recent news that logistics company C BUTT has also signed up to the network, serving the CV postcodes and expanding into the NN postcode region later this year.
