Rebecca Spittle has become head of supply chain for UK and Ireland at Omega Pharma which last year bought ten pharmaceuticals brands from GlaxoSmithKline including Nytol and Solpadeine.
She is moving from Danone Baby Nutrition, where as head of customer supply she was part of the team that won the overall award in the 2012 European Supply Chain Excellence Awards. Prior to Danone, she worked for Reckitt Benckiser.
In her new role Spittle will focus on the implementation of effective supply chain processes, customer relationship management and using her accreditation in advanced coaching excellence to develop the team. “My role will lead the management of an efficient supply chain which will deliver value to our customers and the business to ensure future growth,” she said.
Neil Lister, general manager UK and Ireland, said: “Her appointment move us closer to our goal of achieving retail sales of £300 million in the next five years in the UK and Ireland through the development of breakthrough technologies, continued investment and by working in partnership with our customers.”
