Expert Logistics, which specialises in two man home delivery of white goods, has expanded its coverage with a new depot in Garforth, Leeds.
The 1.3 acre site has been acquired on a long term lease and will enable the company to deliver to regional customers 7 days a week.
It expects to create 70 jobs, including home delivery drivers to supervisors and admin support staff being advertised.
managing director Dave Ashwell said; “This move to Garforth, Leeds, enables us to grow our business, improve our service levels and client proposition and most importantly improve our efficiency. We are investing a lot of money, time and effort to ensure the environment is the best it can possibly be for our people.”
Expert opened a 360,000 sq ft headquarters building in February 2012 in Crewe. It will send double deck trailers loaded with kitchen appliances from Crewe to Leeds during the night ready for distribution to Yorkshire and the North East.
The company’s client list includes Boots, Next, House of Fraser, B&Q, Argos, Empire Direct, Screwfix and Shop Direct.
