Kate Yates has become head of marketing activities at Crane Worldwide Logistics, an American based 3PL which is expanding into Europe.
Yates has been in the 3PL industry for over 15 years, having worked as a sales director and more recently head of business development for the technology sector in Asia.
Crane’s services include air & ocean freight services, custom packing & crating, warehousing & distribution and on demand web portal.
It currently has more than 1,000 employees in 75 offices in 21 different countries and aims to continuously grow.
In the last six months it has seen new relationships built with companies such as Apple, where it is in charge of all their US imports, HTC, where it currently transports goods from Asia to Europe, and Esprit, where it offers domestic distribution to all stores.
