Agility has completed its first delivery of equipment for the Caspian Pipeline Consortium a week ahead of schedule.
The logistics provider transported the cargo, which included high-efficiency pump and seal equipment, to Kazakhstan, Russia, after a 6,000 km transit.
The company was awarded the contract by Flowserve Corporation, a worldwide provider of flow control products and services to the oil and gas industry and to global infrastructure projects.
The deal involved Agility gathering specialised equipment from across the globe and delivering it to be assembled to the Flowserve plant in Etten-Leur, Netherlands, before being transported to Kazakhstan.
“The project was successfully executed against a challenging timeline and required tight coordination of a range of capabilities within the company,” said Mike Bible, Agility’s CEO, Europe.
