Cyrill Gaechter has been made Gebrüder Weiss Air & Sea Switzerland’s new country manager, which will see him take responsibility for Gebrüder Weiss’ country-wide air and sea freight business.
Gaechter is based at the Zurich airport terminal and will report directly to Harald Kostial, the company’s regional director.
He has previously worked as Shanghai business unit manager at Panalpina and, most recently, head of marketing & sales department for the Black and Caspian Sea region.
The announcement comes as the company begins the expansion of its Swiss network, with the opening of a new air & sea location in the capital of Bern in May.
