Polycarbonate and plastic roofing products supplier Molan UK has ordered a 17 trucks on contract hire from Ryder.
“Ryder now provides us with fixed operating costs, which means that our transport stays in budget, and we gain reliability benefits knowing that our new fleet will always be available for work and able to maintain customer delivery schedules,” said Wayne Lawson, Molan UK’s operations director.
The new 18-tonne trucks have replaced an ageing vehicle fleet which required significant expenditure to maintain.
Molan is hoping they will enable the company to extend its delivery areas as well as its customer base.
