Boughey Distribution is putting the first Schmitz Cargobull Euroliner to test. The trailer joins Boughey’s 280-strong trailer fleet and will be used for general UK distribution.
It will be monitored by the company’s group fleet engineer, Paul Brimelow, who will assess how it copes with UK operations as opposed to conventional curtainsiders.
The trailer features the FIXStrap proprietary load securing system, offered by Schmitz Cargobull in association with NWE Network Engineering, which comprises 13 pairs of straps attached to bungee cords on the roof that spring out the way when not in use.
The Euroliner also offers the ability to load through the roof.
