Schenker Schweiz is building a 38,500 sq m logistics centre in Pfungen, near Zurich, in Switzerland.
11,600 sq m of the space is set to house infrastructure for storage, production supply and other “value-added” services for logistics.
Situated close to the highways A1 and A51, as well as Zurich airport, the company says the facility will offer industrial and trade customers a one-stop shop for contract logistics, land transport, air and ocean freight, and customs clearance.
Commissioning is planned for early 2014.
