Outdoor clothing brand Trespass has awarded Torque a contract to provide intake, storage and pick and despatch services to the 140 Trespass stores throughout the UK, from its site in Wigan.
Under the deal Torque expects to handle 1.5 million units annually.
Glasgow based Trespass makes specialist performance clothing, including footwear and accessories such as tents, sleeping bags, pots and pans. It entered the retail market in the late 1990s and, in addition to its UK stores, now has a network of franchised outlets all over the world.
Financial controller Graham Hancock, said: “We liked Torque’s proactive approach to business, their flexibility and the easy access to their senior management they offered us.”
