DB Schenker Logistics has invested €53 million (£44.8 million) in a new terminal in Vantaa, Finland, to operate land transport, parcel services, home deliveries and air and ocean freight.
Located close to the Helsinki airport, in the Viinikkala logistics area, the facility will include warm and unheated terminal buildings, as well as an office building, over a total of approximately 52,300 sq m.
Completion is expected in July 2015.
