A new online freight exchange, Shipntrak, will be unveiled at the Logistics Link Live show at the NEC next month.
Shipntrak, which is powered by global vehicle tracking company Simplytrak, is positioned as “the smarter online freight exchange”.
It will connect shippers and hauliers, matching cargo with available space and allowing live tracking of the cargo from pick up to delivery.
Ehab Allam, managing director of Shipntrak, said: “Our new online exchange will provide a simple, effective way to maximise journey profitability for hauliers and offer shippers a competitive way to source those hauliers at the best price for their load. We are looking forward to unveiling the site at Logistics Link Live and exposing its features and functionality to a targeted logistics community for the first time.”
Shipntrak is just one of the market leading specialists exhibiting at Logistics Link Live, which takes place at the NEC from 5th to 6th June.
Flexi Narrow Aisle will use Logistics Link Live to highlight its new Warehouse Systems Division as well as showing models from its articulated forklift truck range. The Systems Division has been launched to offer a range of warehouse planning and design and implementation services to the logistics industry.
OBS Logistics will host a free seminar session, entitled “The Bare Essentials of Integrated Delivery Management”, at Logistics Link Live 2013.
The seminar will discuss how technology can be used across the supply chain to increase automation and reduce the risk of error, duplication and loss.
Logistics Link Live will see new software systems and new equipment on display, with leading companies covering all areas of logistics.
Live demonstrations will take place throughout the two days, both on stands and in the live demo arenas, enabling visitors to compare the latest products and solutions and see for themselves how they can be used to optimise their operations.
Exhibitors also include: BS Handling Systems, Datalogic, Renovotec and Fork Lift Truck Association.
Registration is free for logistics and supply chain professionals and ensures fast track entry to the show.
