APC has bought two warehouse units totalling 12,800 sq ft at Piper Court, Blackpool Business Park in Lancashire as part of its on-going expansion plans.
The announcement follows hard on the heels of news that the company is moving to a new £15 million logistics hub at the Kingswood Lakeside development in Cannock, which will more than double the capacity of the existing centre in Essington.
APC Overnight’s decision to move to new premises follows record growth over recent years, culminating in the company posting £65.76 million turnover and a 30 per cent rise in pre-tax profits for the year 2011-2012.
The units in Blackpool were sold for an undisclosed sum by Robert Pinkus & Co on behalf of liquidator PwC.
