Xergi has signed contracts to supply UK-based Tamar Energy with two Anaerobic Digestion plants, as part of Tamar’s plans to build a network of more than 40 new bio-gas plants by 2018.
The plants are set to have a total capacity of 100 MW and produce enough energy to power more than 200,000 homes.
The first two plants, in Retford, Nottinghamshire, and Holbeach, Lincolnshire, are expected to be commissioned in January 2014 and December 2013, respectively.
