Argos has chosen Andy Brown to take on the newly created role of head of customer fulfilment for stores.
He is charged with leading the development of local fulfilment options and make more choice available faster for customers.
Before joining Argos, Brown was business programme director for Tesco.com, where he led the transformation programme for its online business. Prior to that he held a number of operational roles and spent five years as a strategy consultant at OC&C.
Steve Carson, retail operations director at Argos said: “The ability to enable stores to offer a wider range for same day availability is a key part of our five year transformation plan.”
