Briggs Equipment has taken on distribution of Yale Europe Materials Handling products in Northern Ireland, making it the exclusive dealer for the Yale brand throughout the UK.
It already distributes the Hyster product range in Northern Ireland. Briggs is based at Newtownabbey, Co Antrim, and employs around 50 people. It will be responsible for sales of new and used forklift trucks and warehouse solutions, along with servicing, parts, contract hire and short-term rental.
Briggs CEO Richard Close said: “Briggs Equipment is well-established in Northern Ireland, operating as a single source of supply for a wide range of products and services and this move increases our portfolio in sectors where the Yale brand is strong, such as logistics and warehousing.”
