Stationery and computer consumables buying group Integra Office Solutions of celebrating a 20% sales improvement since it began using Parceline Solutions’ pick, pack and distribution service. Parceline Solutions, part of GeoPost UK, offers the service to customers of carrier Parceline and its sister company Interlink Express.
Under a three-year contract worth more than £2M, Parceline Solutions stores all products delivered by Integra’s suppliers to the carrier’s Birmingham-based warehouse. Integra emails orders to Parceline Solutions, to be picked and packed the same day and delivered to its customers on next-day guaranteed delivery services.
The contract means Integra benefits from a one-stop-shop solution – saving time, money and inconvenience associated with dealing with several suppliers. Customers benefit from item-picking and stock accuracy of 99.9%, while service flexibility allows late order cut-offs enabling clients to email orders up to 9pm and still get parcels delivered the next day.
Integra also receives stock inventory and order reports at the end of each business day, providing an up-to-date position on stock levels and requirements. Easy access to Parceline’s delivery network gives Integra additional same-day order fulfillment benefit with orders processed and conveyed into the delivery network as soon as they are received.
