Menlo Worldwide Technologies (MWT) is offering separate, stand-alone software solutions and technology services for businesses that have chosen to manage their own logistics operations. Menlo’s supply chain management IT solutions, including its industry-leading warehouse management, order management, and transport management, as well as industry-specific logistics applications are being offered under the MWT. “We created the Menlo DirectTech offerings in response to requests from companies who wanted our proven and highly effective logistics management solution, but who preferred to run their own operations,” says Edward Feitzinger, senior vice president of MWT. Menlo Worldwide Technologies will offer DirectTech customers a range of services – from process re-engineering and network analysis to system configuration.
Manugistics and Ayeca are offering a joint Telecom Revenue Optimisation (TRO) solution which can enable mobile network operators to rapidly configure and deploy targeted promotions to unique customer segments – based on customer-defined interests and usage characteristics. TRO combines Manugistics’ analytical decision-support tool, which enables designing promotions geared to operator’s business goals, and Ayeca’s promotions management software, which enables rapid, easy and accurate launching and managing of multiple promotions concurrently.
VF Europe has chosen TXT to support its Jeanswear Retail Partnership Initiative across Europe, with a solution based on the standard TXT SC&CM Assortment Planning module. The TXT solution has gone live after only three months of implementation, to support the first VF Europe retail partnership initiative in Germany. The functions of the TXT SC&CM Assortment Planning solution for CF include: preparation of balanced and product assortments at store level, to satisfy strategic product and store objectives; optimal open-to-buy plans; and planning for inventory.
