DHL Exel has extended a longstanding contract with wallpaper supplier CWV to handle its warehouse operations from a DHL shared user site in Middleton, Manchester for the next two years.
DHL Exel manages receipt of product from a factory in Morecambe, Lancashire. It also manages the stock and co-ordinates the despatching of orders to CWV’s customers. CWV’s customers includes High Street names in the UK such as B&Q, Focus, Homebase and Wickes and the export market includes Europe, USA and Canada.
* DHL Exel has also won a five-year contract with SCA Timber Supply. It will manage the national transport for SCA Timber Supply, delivering standard and developed timber products to DIY retailers and builders merchants across the UK and the Irish Republic from SCA Timber Supply’s national distribution centre in Stoke-on-Trent.
