TNT Logistics has won a multi-million pound contract to manage all warehousing, store-replenishment and home delivery, for Ilva, a Danish furniture retailer. Ilva opened its first store in the UK on 3 August 2006, at Thurrock, with other stores being planned for Manchester and Gateshead.
TNT Logistics will manage more than one million sq ft of warehousing. The contract will create 550 new jobs, with distribution centres at Doncaster and Hull.
