E.M. Rogers, a Northampton-based transport company, has joined the Palletforce network.
The company’s primary focus is international haulage and has not been involved with a distribution network before. It said that the decision to join one was made after the company decided to diversify and extend its UK operation.
Ed Rogers said: “As part of the Transport Association, we asked fellow members who are part of Palletforce what they thought of the network. The overriding feeling was that Palletforce has revolutionised the way they do business, and has really helped them to develop.”
E.M. Rogers has been recruited as a Shareholder Member Depot for the MK postcode.
The company has been in business for 61 years, and today its 80-strong fleet operates from two three-acre sites in Northampton. It maintains a strong European focus, with 50 vehicles travelling to Italy, where E.M. Rogers partners a local transport company.
