By wpengineElite Transport is conducting a fuel economy trial, using different Michelin tyres on 15 Volvo FH 480 six by two tractors.
Ten of the trucks have been fitted with Michelin E segment regional tyres and five are fitted with ‘A’ segment Energy tyres.
Elite is now monitoring the difference in fuel economy before making a decision on whether to switch the entire fleet of 140 vehicles to a Michelin Energy policy.
