Alternative investment manager Ares Management Corporation has acquired a modern logistics portfolio in Poland by Ares Real Estate funds.
The portfolio was acquired from international real estate investment manager, Savills Investment Management, which acquired the first asset in 2020.
It comprises five logistics assets spanning approximately 284,000m² (c. 3,056,950ft²) across logistics hubs in Warsaw, Poznan, Upper Silesia, and Szczecin.
The portfolio is 94% leased to quality tenants across the e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, and 3PL sectors, representing a diversified and global customer base.
Marq Logistics, which represents Ares’ vertically integrated global logistics real estate platform, will manage the portfolio.
Ares head of European logistics, Daan van den Hoven, said: “Logistics is one of our highest conviction sectors and Poland is a market in which we have been investing for over two decades, placing this transaction at the intersection of our differentiated sector knowledge and localized investment approach.
“Additionally, we are proud to leverage Marq Logistics’ leading capabilities to maximize value and look forward to working closely with our colleagues to deliver for our investors.”
