Evri has announced the acquisition of Cross Border Connect (CBC), a Florida-based logistics technology business specialising in delivery and returns on the UK-US e-commerce corridor.
In 2025, Evri merged with DHL eCommerce UK to form the UK’s largest dedicated parcel delivery group and has recently also acquired Coll-8.
The acquisition of the Irish customs clearance specialist will provide Evri with direct access into the Republic of Ireland enabling broader EU cross-border trade.
Now, with CBC, Evri is gaining greater access to the US market at a time when UK-US eCommerce is one of the fastest-growing trade lanes in the world.
CBC brings a proprietary technology platform plugged into US delivery networks and strategic ports of entry, allowing retailers and marketplaces to optimise parcel routing on cost, speed and service. Co-founder Chris Lentjes will remain as CEO.
Chris Lentjes, co-founder and chief executive officer of Cross Border Connect, said: “We built CBC to make cross-border delivery easier to manage, giving customers greater control over how their parcels reach consumers.
“Joining Evri will give us the scale and backing to take that further, expand our capabilities and support more customers.
“I’m excited to continue leading CBC as we bring together our U.S. expertise and Evri’s international ambitions.”
IntraLogisteX returns to the USA on 15-16 September 2027, bringing together senior supply chain, logistics, warehousing, fulfilment, manufacturing and automation professionals . Find out more
