Andrew Southgate, VP of business development, EMEA at Lucas Systems, will explain how digitising warehouse workflows can support sustainability at the Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition 2026.
Now in its third year, the exhibition takes place on 18–19 March at the NEC Birmingham and is co-located with IntraLogisteX, Robotics and Automation, and Fulfilment & Last Mile Expo.
During the event attendees will gain valuable insights into integrating sustainable strategies into their operations to meet growing demands for environmental responsibility.
Southgate, who brings more than 25 years of experience in supply chain optimisation, will speak in the Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition Theatre at 11am on Wednesday 18 March.
In a session titled, ‘Digitising Warehouse Workflows for Sustainability’, he will examine the environmental impact of paper-based warehouse processes and demonstrate how digital and voice-enabled picking solutions can help reduce waste, improve accuracy and boost operational efficiency.
Southgate will also share real-world case studies and outline practical first steps for organisations beginning their digital sustainability journey.
Lucas Systems’ presentation is one of more than 60 sessions taking place across three conference theatres during the event, which is expected to attract 11,000 logistics, warehousing and supply chain professionals.
The programme features case studies and insights from retailers, manufacturers and logistics providers and includes topics from warehouse automation to fulfilment.
Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition is dedicated to sustainable practices and processes in the supply chain and logistics industry. Attendees include decision-makers actively seeking solutions that can help them on their journey to achieving true business sustainability.
