DSV has opened an 853,000ft² logistics facility in Laredo, Texas, to support freight movements and supply chain operations between the United States and Mexico.
The multi-client facility combines warehousing, transport, customs brokerage, fulfilment, inventory management and distribution services at one location.
Located on a major US-Mexico trade corridor, the site is designed to support companies managing cross-border supply chains, with services including omnichannel fulfilment, pallet and case storage, cross-docking and SKU-level order fulfilment.
The facility also offers bonded and Foreign-Trade Zone storage options for short- and long-term requirements, alongside customs brokerage and trade compliance support.
DSV said the operation also provides northbound US customs services and on-site Mexican customs processing, enabling customers to move freight more efficiently across borders.
Thomas Christensen, managing director and chief operating officer, air & sea, United States, at DSV, said: “As supply chains become increasingly complex, customers need a trusted partner capable of providing seamless transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and fulfilment services.”
The development brings together DSV’s air and sea freight, road transport, contract logistics and customs capabilities as the company expands its services supporting North American trade.
IntraLogisteX returns to the USA on 15-16 September 2027, bringing together senior supply chain, logistics, warehousing, fulfilment, manufacturing and automation professionals . Find out more
