The Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) has expanded its trans-Pacific network with an additional 567,000 kilograms of weekly capacity between Asia Pacific and the United States.
The new service operates through three routing variations connecting FedEx’s Asia Pacific hub in Guangzhou and sub-regional hubs in Shanghai, China; Osaka, Japan with its gateway in Clark, the Philippines, via Anchorage, Alaska, to the FedEx World Hub in Memphis, Tennessee.
Businesses across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, as well as Hong Kong, can access additional capacity to the United States through connections via Clark and Shanghai.
Reportedly, the new five-times-weekly Boeing 777F service is expected to help businesses across advanced industrial manufacturing, AI infrastructure, and premium e-commerce access additional capacity to support rising customer demand.
The enhanced network also introduces a new five-times-weekly connection for Asia Pacific customers to Dallas–Fort Worth via Anchorage, providing an additional gateway to one of the United States’ leading technology and data center markets.
FedEx Asia Pacific president Salil Chari said: “Global supply chains are becoming increasingly interconnected, particularly across advanced manufacturing, AI-related industries, and premium e-commerce.
“The addition of this capacity comes at a critical time as customers prepare for increased shipping volumes ahead of the year-end peak season.
“Businesses need reliable access to capacity, speed, and global connectivity to serve customers and keep supply chains moving.
“These additional flights strengthen links between Asia Pacific and key U.S. markets, including Dallas– Fort Worth, while supporting growth across semiconductors, technology, and AI-driven industries.”
